The story is that in 2006, illustrator Koji Inada fell ill and the series went on hiatus. Never seen the anime, but I read the manga when it was first coming out in America. So I've been following this series for a very long time. I know this post is pretty lengthy, but hopefully this is enough info to understand what’s going on and maybe get a entertaining search going. If anyone can make contact with anybody about this or maybe get in touch with someone who has a DVD (you don’t have to do that, it’s just a suggestion) that would be very much appreciated! BTVB is a pretty underrated show and while the dub is meh at best, I don’t want it to fade into obscurity, as it’s apart of the show’s history. The DVDs that contain the first four episodes of the dub can be bought online but most of the DVDs are sold out and no one has uploaded the episodes online to the public.

The only clip of the dub that exists is on YouTube: I tried going to the uploader’s website to find information but there wasn’t anything that I could find that could help me, I even tried to get in contact with the original uploader but to no avail. The show never aired on television (though one person said that an episode aired on Toonami at one point, but I don’t really believe them, for they had no evidence to support it) Not much info on why it shut down but I assume it was bankruptcy (like most businesses). Illumitoon went deduct somewhere in 2007. The show ran for 52 episodes, The anime was licensed in North America by Illumitoon Entertainment, who released DVDs containing 4 episodes with an English dub track. The protagonist of the story, Beet, is a young boy who becomes a Vandel Buster to be like his heroes, the Zenon Warriors. Humans can fight back by becoming a Vandel Buster, a paid monster and Vandel assassin. The story takes place in a fantasy world where humans have been suffering from the attacks of the demon-like Vandels.
